The funeral for Michael F. Lombard will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home at Lewiston.

A gathering for family and friends will follow at First Church of the Nazarene in Lewiston.

Burial will be Wednesday at Kellogg, Idaho.

Lombard, a meat cutter at the Lewiston Albertsons, died early Friday morning in a one-vehicle accident on the Kendrick Grade.

He was 50.

He was born June 29, 1948, at Kellogg to Frank and Iime Lombard.

He grew up there and graduated from Kellogg High School in 1967. He attended Lewis-Clark State College at Lewiston, where he received an associate's degree in the early 1980's.

In his earlier years, Lombard lived in Spokane and worked as a meat cutter.

He never married, but his longtime companion is Linda Mulalley of Lewiston.

He was an avid outdoors man and cherished his time spent in the mountains of northern Idaho.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his four-wheeler.

He loved animals, especially his large dog.

Survivors include his sister, Judy Lombard of Spokane.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Lewis-Clark Animal Shelter, 1820 Shelter Road, Lewiston 83501
