James Siebold, age 96, 1509 Center Street, Kewaunee died Monday, October 24, 2005 at the Kewaunee Care Center. He was born October 8, 1909 at Stangelville to the late Paul and Anna (Krummel) Siebold.
James married Lillian Messmann on June 26, 1940 at St. Mary’s Church in Tisch Mills. He farmed on a farm in Stangelville all of his life until 1993 when he moved to Kewaunee. He also worked at Kewaunee Engineering for twenty years.

He was a lifelong member of St. Lawrence Church, Stangelville, now St. Therese Parish.

Survivors include, Lillian his wife of sixty-five years; seven children: Ronald ( Betty) Siebold, Mishicot; James (Betty) Siebold, Denmark; Sharon Siebold, Westland, MI; Charles (Ellen) Siebold, Denmark; Glenn (Becky) Siebold, Algoma; Julie (Ron) Bruechert, Kewaunee and Rick (Lorri) Siebold, Kewaunee; twenty-two grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one brother: Frank Siebold; two sisters-in-law: Clara Siebold, Kewauneeand Eleanor Siebold, Denmark and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four sisters: Rose Schlies, Anna Tikalsky, Emily Jensen and Katie Shusta and eight brothers: George, Adam, Paul, John, Joseph Sr., William Sr., Victor and Edward.

Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27 at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee. A parish wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday. Visitation continues at the funeral home on Friday until 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Therese Parish/St. Lawrence site at Stangelville with Fr. Terry LaCombe officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
