Ava - Adin Butler, who has been living with his son Solomon, died yesterday at the advanced age of 84 years. The funeral services will be held tomorrow in the Ava M. E. Church. Rev. W. C. Kingsbury will conduct the services. Interment will be made in the Wells Cemetery between North Western and Westernville.

Adin was a carpenter who owned a saw and stovemill, turned 20,000 ash plank oars. He boarded with Pat and Mike Mahedy in 1842/43. (Brother in law)
