Benjamin Bonk, 73, of Elkhart Lake, died early this morning at Plymouth Hospital following a short illness.
He was married to the late Margaret Stencel of Athens, Wis.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. James (Elner) Hanson, Waco, Tex; three sons, Robert and Harold of Houston, Tex., and Ray, also in Texas; six grandchildren; a sister, Miss Tillie Bonk, and a brother, Frank, both of Berlin, Wis.
He was a veteran of World War I and at one time was employed by the Arps Company of New Holstein. He retired from Plymouth Industrial Products a few years ago.
He was a member of St. George's Catholic Church, Elkhart Lake.
Friends may call at the Huff Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Saturday and a parish vigil will be conducted Saturday night at 8:30 p.m.
The body will be shipped Sunday to Waco, Texas, for services and burial next week.
