KINGS MOUNTAIN-Brenda Eaves Fite, 72, died Thursday, June 8, 2017, at Carolinas HealthCare System-Cleveland. A native of Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Sydney and Lucille Morrison Eaves. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Bessemer City, retired from Thermacote Welco, and enjoyed cooking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Bryan Fite, and sister, Shirley Caldwell.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Charles Fite, of the home; daughter, Diane Fite McKee and husband Dennis Berryhill of Kings Mountain; grandchildren, Brandon McKee and wife Catherine, Brad McKee, Christa Easler and husband Kendall, Kaitlyn McKee, Brooklyn McKee, and Bradley Barrett; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Allie McKee, Ashton Page, Jakob Easler, and Lillie Barrett.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Friday, at New Life Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, at New Life Baptist Church, officiated by Pastors Gene Ware and Dennis Gomez.
Burial will follow in Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
