Anthony Smith's first marriage (1861) was in Ontario to Elizabeth Jury (1838-1874) who died of tuberculosis.

Anthony and Elizabeth had six children - Charity (1861), John (1862-1945), William (1864-1883), Anthony A (1869-1945), Thomas (1872-1953) and Robert Jacob (1874-1943). During Elizabeth's illness, her sister Charity Jury (1851-1929) looked after the family and children.

After Elizabeth's death in 1874, Anthony Smith married Charity Jury (Feb 1876). Anthony and Charity moved from Ontario to Innisfail and had four children Walter Roland (1878-1942), Frederick Allan (1882-1965), Emily May (1885-1965) and possibly Florence (1889).

Dec 7, 1889 in Blandford Twp, Oxford County, Ontario. Also records for son William, b. abt 1865 in Ontario, and son Roland b. abt 1878 in Ontario.
