Mr. Fred R. Ong, of Union City, Tenn. who was well known here (Dongola) died at his home on Friday morning, Aug. 4th, after an illness of several weeks. The body was brought here for burial and the funeral was held at the home of George W. Coughanouer, by Rev. J. B. Green, assisted by Rev. S. Trover, on Saturday and a large concourse of friends and relatives attended the burial. Fred was the
only son of Mr. J. Ong, who lived here several years ago and was highly
respected by all.
