Lisa Kay Gill, 51, of Johnston, went to be with the Lord and her Daddy on Sunday, December 8, 2013.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday December 14, 2013 at Memorial Services of Iowa funeral home (4208 N. Ankeny Blvd.) with burial following at Ankeny Memorial Gardens.
A visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 13, 2013, also at the funeral home.
Lisa was born in Hattiesburg, MS on the 14th of August, 1962. Lisa was a loving daughter to Jerry and Linda Stroupe, loving sister and friend to her sister Sandy Weatherman, a loving sister and friend to her step-sister Kathi Williamson, a loving sister and friend to her step-brothers Dan and Tim Dettbarn; and a wonderful loving caring Aunt to Dan Stroupe, Jessica Nelson, and Kolby Weatherman and a proud loving Great-Aunt to Amelia Stroupe. She is so loved and will be missed by us all and many others.
She is preceded in death by her father Jerry Nelson Stroupe, and her grandparents Nelson and Carolyn Stroupe.
Lisa is survived by her mother, Linda Stroupe of Garnavillo, Iowa; her sister Sandy (Rick) Weatherman of Ankeny, Iowa; her step-sister Kathi (Jason) Williamson Garnavillo, Iowa; her step brother Dan Dettbarn of Hattiesburg, MS; her step-brother Tim (Lori) Dettbarn of Garnavillo, Iowa her nephew Daniel (Chelsie) Stroupe of Cameron, NC; her niece Jessica Nelson of Ankeny, Iowa, her nephew Kolby Weatherman of Ankeny, Iowa and her Great-Niece Amelia Stroupe of Cameron, NC.
