He was a native of Richford, Vermont, he had been a resident of Indianapolis since 1939. He retired in 1954 after operating the LeTourneau Implement Company, an Allis Chalmers farm equipment dealership, for seven years.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Marcelene LeTourneau; four sons, James G. LeTourneau of Indianapolis, J.W. LeTourneau Jr. of Fresno, Calif, Jack LeTourneau of Hughson, Calif, and Ralph LeTourneau of Beech Grove; three daughters, Mrs. Donald Duncan of Indianapolis, Mrs. Keith Fouts of Peoria, Illinois, Mrs. David Ebaugh of Harrisburg, Penn., sisters Miss Sarah LeTourneau, Mrs. Tom Olson and brother Mr. Phillip LeTourneau; also 23 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
