Jozelle Allison Babb, 87, a homemaker, passed away Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013. Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Jo was born Aug. 26, 1926, in Munday to Joe and Clara Allison. She moved to Fort Worth after the war, where she met the love of her life, H.O. Babb Jr. On Oct. 4, 1947, they began their love story that lasted 66 years. On Dec. 7, 2013, their love story was put on hold when she stepped into the arms of Jesus. She gave the gift of life to three children. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard Allison. Survivors: She is survived by her sweetheart, H.O. Babb Jr.; daughter, Linda Hornsby and husband, Jay, of Arlington; sons, Don Babb and wife, Isabel, of North Richland Hills and Melvin Babb and wife, Susi, of Fort Worth; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one on the way; brother, Robert Allison of Bedford; and sisters, Margaret Shaw of Memphis, Tenn., and Betty Endicott of Hurst.
