Marguerite Harshberger age 94 of McComb died Sunday December 8, 2013 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. She was born October 30, 1919 in McComb to Harold "Bud" and Ethel (Thompson) Rader. On December 24, 1940 she married Harold L. Harshberger and he he died July 17, 1996. She is survived by daughters Pat (Paul) Sudlow of McComb, and Rose Morrison of McComb. There are seven grandchildren; Tracie (Jeremy) Herr, Eric (Renae) Sudlow, Amy (Chad) Ebling, Brady Morrison, Scotty Morrison, Heather (Patrick) Tesnow; and there are twelve great grandchildren; Briana, Jenna, and Alyssa Herr, Caleb, Camryn, and Callie Sudlow, Brady and Ava Ebling, Isabella Morrison, Kelsey Morrison, Bailey and Joey Rider; and a great- great grandchild Ashley Morrison. Also surviving is a sister Rowena McDougal of Findlay. She was preceded in death by brothers Nobel Rader, Tim Rader, and sisters Betty Edie and Jean Houston.

Mrs. Harshbarger was a 1937 graduate of McComb High School. She was a member of the McComb Church of Christ. She had worked for Boston Glove Factory during WWII, Hash's Food Center in McComb, Roll A Way Lanes in McComb, First Line at Consolidated Biscuit Company, A&P, Krogers, and Great Scot until the age of 78. Throughout her working career she never took a sick day. Her family was her hobby. She enjoyed her grandchildren's ballgames and baking. She was known as "Grandma Hankie" to all who loved her.

Visitation will be on Wednesday December 11, 2013 5-8 p.m. at the HARTLEY FUNERAL HOME in McComb. The funeral service will be on Thursday December 12, 2013 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Eric Sudlow officiating. Internment will be in McComb Union Cemetery.
