He was the son of Terry Blake and Mary Louise (Scagnoli)Orr.
He was a 1977 graduate of Logansport High School.
He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, the Logansport Shrine Club, and also of the Logansport Masonic Lodge. David was an avid collector of racing memorabilia; he enjoyed reading, and volunteering for the Shriner's Children's Hospital.
He was a former jailor for the Cass County Sheriff's Department.
He is survived by his aunts and uncles, Donald and Josephine Moore; Edie and Al Hildebrandt; Julia Baker; Frank and Kay Scagnoli; Martha Scagnoli; Larry and Claudia Lowry; Andrea and Rich Woodke; and Tim and Marie Blake. He is also survived by several cousins and special friends, the Kistler and Jeff Denny families.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents Claude and Mary Blake and Albert and Mary T. Scagnoli; and brother, Dennis Blake.
