After being in failing health for several months, Alice Stafford Myrick died Sunday at her home in Indianapolis. The 79 year old woman was born in Centerton on March 6, 1904. She was married to the Rev. Herman Myrick, who survives. Mrs. Myrick was a member of the Friendly Nazarene Church in Indianapolis.

Besides her husband, she leaves a son, the Rev. Donald Myrick of St Petersburgh, Fla.; two daughters, Lillian Majors of Clearwater, Fla., and Ruth Herrington of Indianapolis; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Ernest Garner will conduct the fuenral Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock in the Mann Road Farley Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Centerton Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday afternoon from 9 to 9 p.m.
