Suzanne Irene Eisele Foster enjoyed a celebration of her life surrounded by her family and friends.

She died peacefully Thursday, Feb. 17, 2005, from hepatorenal syndrome at home in the comfort of her daughters.

Suzanne was born Aug. 15, 1939, in Madison, Wis., to Donald and Agnes Eisele. As a small child, Suzanne moved with her family to Lewiston, where she spent her youth. She attended St. Stanislaus Catholic School, graduated from Lewiston High School, and then went on to Kinman Business College. She was always good with numbers, which carried over to her jobs as a bookkeeper, store manager and supervisor and in the tech industry.

Suzanne loved to travel. In her life she lived in Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Idaho, Washington, Ohio and Louisiana. Her travels included most of the United States, but her most memorable trip was to the Carolinas, where she got to know and love her Eisele cousins and their families. Finding these family members brought her great joy.

Family was the most important thing in her life. She was happiest when in the company of those she loved. She accepted everyone, judged no one, and always rooted for the underdog. She had a wonderful sense of humor and zest for life.

Suzanne always had a good book open and a puzzle in progress. Her leisure time was spent antiquing to add to her many collections, watching the cooking channel, and trying out new recipes with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Donald and Agnes Eisele, and sister Mary Ellen Ellenwood.

She is survived by her two daughters, Teresa Griffith and Jamie Schademan; her very special sons-in-law, Troy Griffith and Kelly Schademan; her loving grandchildren, Samantha Jo and Tyler Griffith and Jessica, Dain and Mikayla Schademan; her dear siblings, Bud Eisele and wife Marge, RJ Eisele and wife Lovetta, Jim Eisele, Pat Eisele and wife Marcy, and Rick Eisele and wife Rita; Jean Marie and husband Mike, and Bill Eisele and wife Becky; her many nieces and nephews; and her lifelong friend, Loretta Hanson.

As a lifelong member of the Catholic Church, Suzanne would like memorial contributions to be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (http://www.stjude.org) in lieu of flowers.

Per Suzanne's wishes, there will be a springtime memorial and burial in Lewiston.
