After a long and exemplary life of service to her family and people she loved, June passed away on 6 December, 2013 at the age of ninety-four.

June was born in Midvale, Utah on 3 June, 1919 to Sylvan John Dunn and Vera Hobbs. She grew up surrounded by seven siblings, including five brothers who teased her to no end. She had beautiful, brilliant auburn red hair and displayed a determination and temperament to match the color. June attended school in Midvale and graduated from Jordan High School in Sandy Utah.

She married William Edward Rogerson on 12 September, 1938 in Midvale and was later sealed with her family in the Salt Lake Temple on 22 November, 1955. After living in Bingham Canyon where her two children were born, June moved with her family to a home in Murray, Utahl where she lived for the next fifty-five years. She spent the last ten years of her life living with her daughter, Pat, in Taylorsville, Utah.

She filled her life with church service and enjoying relationships with her family, neighbors, and many wonderful friends. June enjoyed music and spent most of her adult years singing in the "Relief Society Singing Mothers", and in a double trio that was always in demand for singing performances throughout the valley.

After Bill retired from Kennecott Copper, they spent their days traveling throughout the Western United States and Canada. They would spend their winters in Yuma, Arizona, where they made many new lifelong friends.

June was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her sister, LaRue; and her brothers, Ralph and Willis. She is survived by her two children, Patricia Ann Elliot and William (Bill) Kenneth Rogerson (Louise Lawrence); five grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.

A special expression of appreciation to the compassionate and loving care given to June at the Bel Aire Assisted Living Center, where she lived for the past five months.

The funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 10 December, 2013, in the Bennion Heights Ward Chapel, 3555 West 5620 South, Taylorsville, at 11:00 am. A one hour viewing will precede the services.
Interment will be in the Murray City Cemetery.
