TUPELO – Frank Lee Fields, 70, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born May 8, 1943, to Phillip Fields Sr. and Dollie Bell Fields. He was a member of Spring Hill M.B. Church. He was a graduate from George Washington Carver High School and a U.S. Army veteran.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, at Spring Hill M.B. Church with the Rev. Gary Long officiating. Burial, with military honors, will be in Porter's Memorial Park. Grayson-Porter's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by five siblings, Dollie (Clyde) Yarbrough of Fontana, Calif., Elmo Fields of Grand Rapids, Mich., Deloris Fields-Jenkins of Tupelo, James Earl Fields of Oakland, Calif., and Vernecial "Nikki" (Tim) Cauthern of Fulton; one uncle, Arzell Patrick of Chicago, Ill.; and one aunt, Mary Lois Bradford of Grand Rapids, Mich.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Phillip Jr., William "Bubba" and Roy T. Fields; and one sister, Lossie "Tut" Tolbert.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. today at J.W. Porter's Chapel. Viewing will be at the church one hour until service time Monday.
