Evelyn L. Carroll, 85, of Londonderry, died 4 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2013 at her residence following a brief illness.She was born October 8, 1928, in Chillicothe, to the late Floyd and Ethel Trego Bethel. On January 29, 1949, she married Bernard E. Carroll who survives. Also surviving are four children; seven grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; two sisters, both of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Rudy Carroll and a brother, Richard Bethel. Evelyn attended Londonderry United Methodist Church. She volunteered for years at the Adena Regional Medical Center and had worked at Dick's Dairy Corner in Londonderry. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. The family would like to thank Adena Hospice, her nurse Sherry and Home Helpers. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, December 9, 2013 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Woodrow Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may call at Ware's from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
