McKinley B. Yordy, 62, Fredericksburg Route One, died this morning at the Lebanon Sanatorium after over a year's illness. He was a farmer, orchard man, and bee keeper, and also operated a sawmill, all on his property west of Fredericksburg. He also was a bus driver until this year's term for the Northern Lebanon County Schools for 30 years. Surviving are his wife, Mamie, nee Kneasel Yordy; children: Miles, West Lebanon; McKinley G., Jonestown Rote One; Marion, wife of. David Deaven, Jonestown Route Two; Mildred, wife of Mark Boeshore, Jonestown Route One; Clarence, Myerstown; 13 grandchildren; and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Mabel Light, Jonestown; Adam Yordy, Lebanon; Iva, wife of John Weaver, Jonestown Route One. Funeral services were held for McKinley B. Yordy, Fredericksburg Route One, this afternoon from the Strauss Funeral Home, Jonestown. Rev. Donald Steward, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, Fredericksburg, officiated. Interment was in the Lutheran Cemetery, Jonestown. Pallbearers were: Raymond High, Oscar Rittle.
