John F. Samples, Sr. of Indianapolis passed away at Methodist Hospital. Mr. Samples was preceded in death by his parents, Barney D. and Mary Curl Samples, brothers Dewey and Don Samples; sisters Norma Jean Wilson and Lee "Toots" Martin and uncle, Ray Curl. He was a veteran of the United State s Army and was a 46-year member of the Plumbers, Steamfitters and HVAC Service Technicians, Local 440. John is survived by sons, Bon (Jane), John F., Jr. (Robyn) and Ronald (Brenda) Samples; daughters Yvonne (David) Martin and Margaret Daviau, brother, Raymond Samples; 10 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services were Thursday, January 3 2013 at Usher Funeral Home. Interment will be in Floral Park Cemetery.
