Willard M. Redfearn was the son of Ulysses S. Grant Redfearn and Olive Reatha Cook.

He grew up in the Braggs area and attended several country schools, including Greenleaf. He worked as a farmer with his brother, performed contract labor as a carpenter and was a rancher. He resided in CA for 35 Yrs before moving to Ft. Gibson, OK, in 1985.

He married (2) Erma Marie (Cobb) Gates on 9 Apr 1983, daughter of William "Bill" COBB and Mary Adaline WOODS, Find A Grave Memorial# 16546677; Mary Adaline is daugher to William Henry Woods also she is the mother of Erma who is still alive.

Willard also married (1) Ruby WOODS, daughter of William Henry WOODS and Mary Ann "Mollie" SANDERSON "YOUNG", on 6 Aug 1941 in Muskogee, Ok, Muskogee Co.

He was a member of the Victory Pentecostal Church and enjoyed fishing, carpentry work, and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Grant and Olive Cook Redfearn and a daughter Sherry.

He is survived by his wife of 22 yrs, (2) Erma Marie Gates-Redfearn; 3 daughters: Betty Jean Dick and husband Tom, Carol Ann Stanley and husband Dodie, and Mary Laverne Harris; a son Billy Joe Redfearn; 3 step-daughters: Caroly Mannon and husband Jerry, Marily Perry and husband Jackie, and Gail Harris and husband Albert; a ste-son James Gates and wife Denise; 4 sisters: Ruby Evans, Effie Hartness, Louise Bradshaw, and Fannie Falling; 2 brothers: James Redfearn and Sidney Redfearn; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended relatives and friends.

Pallbearers include: Brian Harris, Kerry Mannon, Logan Mannon, John Gatesd, Michael Gates and David Armstory. Honorary pallbearers include: Chad Armstrong and Shane Mannon.
