He was a native and lifelong resident of Ruston, a retired employe at La. Tech, a Veteran of World War One and a member of the Ephesus Primitive Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Gerald Marvel officiating.
Burial will take place in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Choudrant under direction of Kilpatricks Funeral Home of Ruston.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dossie Holloway of Ruston; three sons, J. R. Holloway of Minden, Charles Holloway of Ruston and Marvin Holloway of Shreveport; three daughters, Mrs. Nellie Theodos of Ruston, Mrs. Dorothy Flowers of Ruston and Mrs. Shirley Voda of Huntsville, Ala.; two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Arrant of Ruston and Mrs. Pearl Henson of Ruston; and 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
