Diana married Elijah Ware on July 19, 1852.

Dianna was living in Winhall, Vermont when she married Charles Abbott on April 19, 1858.

After Charles died while in service during the Civil War, Dianna went to work as a housekeeper in the Gilman Davis household in Landgrove, Bennington County, Vermont. Her oldest daughter, Adora, was nine years old, and worked as a domestic. Dianna's youngest daughter, Elnora, lived in the household as well.
