Herbert Lawson, of St. James, Manitoba, died of wounds received in France, at First Southern General Hospital, Edgbaston, Birmingham, England. He was the brother of George C. Lawson, of Hanley, Saskatchewan. Herbert was working as a carpenter when he enlisted at Winnipeg, in December 1915.
