BETTY JANE MEEKER, 88, of , Hagerstown, Md., passed away Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, at the Ravenwood Lutheran Village. Born Monday, Jan. 19, 1925, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late John Hogan and the late Julia (Neibert) Hogan.
She graduated from Hagerstown High School. She was a secretary at Fairchild Aircraft and the Jefferson Cheese Co. She was a member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church, the Ladies Auxiliary at the American Legion and the Western Maryland Hospital Auxiliary.
She is survived by her sister, Julia Donovan of Flushing, N.Y. and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Pearl Haines, Ida Mildred Weller, Mary Francis Knicley, Naomi Virginia Horn, Ruth Marie Troupe and Doris McCallum, and brothers, John Hogan, Robert Hogan and James Hogan.
Interment was at the Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
