Sister of Norman MacLeod and of Mrs. Shortt, whose husband was Reverend Shortt, the Presbyterian minister in the 1920's.

Anna was working as a bookkeeper at Hodge's store when she married George. In later years, she lived with step-daughter Cecelia in Innisfail, and was a gracious and kindly lady who enjoyed good health.
