Obituary-Peachie Hardwick Sherrow, 86, formerly of Smith Street, died Wednesday at Danville Centre for Health and Rehabilitation. Born April 14, 1913, in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Noah and Lizzie Baker Hardwick.
She was the widow of Raymond Sherrow. She was a retired employee of Palm Beach, a member of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church and Willing Workers Sunday School Class.
Survivors include a granddaughter, Christine L. Mead of Joliet, Ill.; a grandson, Scott R. Sherrow of Joliet; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Sherrow. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Jo Garnett. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.
