Fred Hoerth, 81, of Lodi died Saturday, April 12, 2003, at home. He was born Jan. 19, 1922, in Zealand, N.D. Hoerth was a longtime Stockton resident before moving to Lodi in 1950.
He retired in 1983 after working as an auditor and assessor for the San Joaquin County Assessor's Office. Before that, he worked as an accountant for Continental Canning Co.
Hoerth served in the Army during World War II. He was a member of New Hope Community Church and American Legion Post 22.
He is survived bu his daughter, Katy Marconi; and sister, Ramona "Sally" Davis .
Burial was in Lodi Memorial Cemetery.
