Edna "Cricket" Hall, 87, of Shiremanstown, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 7, 1926 in Colfax, PA to the late Dwight and Pearl (Stapleton) McClain. In true Edna style, she wanted each and every person that she met throughout her lifetime to know that she truly celebrated and cherished them. Each brought knowledge and value that enriched her life. Additionally, she felt blessed to have had such a wonderful life and phenomenal family. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Shiresmanstown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Roy M. Hall, 2 brothers; Kevin and Gilbert McClain, and one sister; JoAnna Edwards. Edna is survived by a son, 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, 4 brothers, 3 sisters. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 44 West Main Street, Shiremanstown, PA 17011.
