MRS. ABIGAIL PECKHAM
VERONA-- Mrs. Abigail Eades Peckham, died unexpectedly at Kenmore Sunday. A native of New London, Mrs. Peckham and her late husband Frank Peckham, had spent several weeks each year with his father, the late William M. Peckham, at Verona and were well known in this area.
Abigail Eades was born at New London, daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. Hiram Eades. After her marriage to Frank Peckham, she had resided in Kenmore, near Buffalo, except for the yearly visits to Verona. Her husband, who died four years ago, had been a Captain of Lake Erie.
She is survived by two sons, Alonzo and William, both of Buffalo; and one grandson, the Rev. Frank Peckham, Fredonia.
The body will be brought here at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday for funeral services at Verona Cemetery.
