William Carle Olmer, Sr., 71, of 14 Stoden Dr., Greensburg, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 1986 in Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born in Youngwood, July 25, 1915, a son of the late Joseph and Clara Smith Olmer. Before his retirement he was employed as an assistant manager for Robertshaw Control of New Stanton. He was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church of Youngwood and the Robertshaw Retirees Club. He was preceded in death by five brothers. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Smith Olmer; two daughters, Mrs. Gerry (Audrey) Reid of Greensburg and Mrs. Donald (Carole) Graham Jr. of North Huntingdon; a son, William C. Olmer Jr., of Latrobe; a step-brother, Harry Hamilton of Long Beach, Calif.; two step-sisters, Mrs. Marguerite Cameron and Mrs. Ruth Kable, both of Greensburg; two grandchildren.
