She was a daughter of Joseph and Philomena (Sextro) Roetgerman. On May 17, 1941, in Minster, she married Wilbert (Bill) Beckman, who preceded her in death on March 5, 1991.
Surviving are four sons, John (Margie Grevenkamp), Tim (Janet Siegrist) Ted (Mary Brockman), and Rick (Becky Rosengarten), all Minster; two daughters, Mary Jane (Jack) Ritter, Minster, and Sara (Joe) Kappel, Greenwood, IN; 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, William; a brother, Robert; and a sister Mary King.
She was a member of St. Augustine Church, Minster and a member of Farm Bureau Federation. With her husband they founded Applenotch Holstiens Inc. and she was a homemaker.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Augustine Church, with the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating.
