Esther Virginia Hirner, 73, of Baring died Sunday morning (June 21, 1987) in Missouri Chest Hospital in Mt. Vernon where she had been a patient since May 05.

Born June 26 1913, in Edina, she was the daughter of Floyd and Sarah Ruth Stutsman Haines. On October 27, 1934 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she was married to Francis J Hirner who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Eldon (Gretchen) Parrish of Baring; one son Franz Hirner of Forest City, California; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Nelson(Laura) Parrish and Patricia Grant, both of Crystal Lake, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by one brother George Haines.

Mrs. Hirner was a 1932 graduate of the Edina High School and attended St Mary School of Nursing in Quincy, Illinois. She had been a resident of Baring for the past several years.

The body is at Kriegshauser Funeral Home in Edina where rosary was said at 7:30 Monday evening (June 22, 1987). Funeral services were held this morning (Tuesday, June 23, 1987) in the St Joseph Catholic Church, Edina. The Rev. Mike Coleman, pastor of the church, conducted the services. Burial was in the St Joseph Cemetery in Edina.
