at Memorial hospital. He
had been in failing health.
A member of the Burnettsville
Baptist church, he retired
as owner of Economy Cleaning
two years ago.
He was a veteran of World
War I.
He was born in Cass county
Dec. 23, 1894, to Andrew and
Emma A. Cassman Cotner.
Survivors include his wife,
Florence; a son, Herbert (Joe),
1329 Spear St.; a daughter,
Mrs. Eileen Brown, 218 Tanguy
St., two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Benson,
Lake Wales, Fla., and Mrs.
Clara Kochel, Ft. Wayne; two
grandchildren; seven greatgrand
children and several nieces
and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sat-
urday at McCloskey-Hamilton
Kahle funeral home. The Rev.
John E. Douglas will officiate.
Burial will be in Davis ceme-
tery. Friends may call after 7
p.m. Thursday at the funeral
home.
