Burke, Mrs. J. Y., age 79, died 11:40 p.m. Monday at the residence, 918 West Terrell. Survived by two sons, W. E., Lubbock; Harry Burke, Detroit, Mich.; three daughters, Mrs. Mack Stauffer, Fort Worth; Mrs. L. B. Steele, Dalhart; Mrs. Arthur Rose Strattford [ed - Mrs. Arthur Ross, Stratford], sister, Mrs. Lena Black, Blossoms, Texas. Funeral services 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Harveson-Cole Chapel, Dr. J. Frank Norris officiating. Interment Greenwood. Pallbearers, Walter Downing, C. R. Gatewood, Herbert Boone, Charles Braselton, Will Merrell, Elick Stedman.
