Ruby Lee Douglas, 74, died Friday, November 22, 2013 in Amarillo.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock, with Rev. Jim Sinyard, pastor of the Carpenter Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Ruby was born September 16, 1939 in Anniston, Alabama. She married Billy L. "Bill" Douglas on April 8, 1961 in Shamrock. He preceded her in death on July 28, 2012. Ruby has been a resident of Pampa for 15 years moving from Beaver, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Thomas and Maudie McLemore, an infant son, Jeffery Harmon Douglas in 1964, and a sister Evelyn Strickland.

Ruby is survived by two sons, Billy Kirk Douglas of Pampa, and Jonathan Thomas Douglas and wife Delene of Fritch, a brother, Johnny McLemore and wife Norma of Kansas City, Kansas, a sister, Bobbie Logan of Anniston, Alabama, four grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, Tennessee 38101-9908

Survivors include two sons, Billy Kirk Douglas of Pampa, and Jonathan Thomas Douglas of Fritch; a brother, Johnny McLemore of Kansas City, Kan.; a sister, Bobbie Logan of Anniston, Ala.; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

The family suggest memorials be to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101.
