PAMPA — Billy L. "Bill" Douglas, 76, of Pampa died Saturday, July 28, 2012.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Shamrock Cemetery with the
Rev. Jim Sinyard, pastor of Carpenter's Church, officiating. Arrangements are by
Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.

Mr. Douglas was born Jan. 10, 1936, in Shamrock. He retired from Colorado Interstate Gas Co. after 15 years of service and moved to Pampa.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Douglas; two sons, Billy Kirk Douglas of Pampa and Jonathan Douglas of Fritch; four grandchildren; five sisters, Dollye Montgomery of Fallon, Nev., Neoma Bates of Boise, Idaho, Mona Harris of Altus, Okla., Linda Steward of Weatherford, Okla., and Billie Jean Welty of Amarillo; and two brothers, Thurman "Red" Davis of Idabell, Okla., and P.A. Davis of Borger.

The family suggests memorials be to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
