Mrs. Maria Arrington, 86, widow of George B. Arrington, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Warren Gray, 209 Atlantic avenue, Saturday, following a long illness. She was born in Marblehead, the daughter of the late James and Maria [sic] (Brown) Bailey.
Besides Mrs. Gray, she leaves a son, Thomas, of North Hampton, and two sisters, Miss Mary Bailey of Marblehead and Mrs. George Pope of Hudson.
Funeral services for Mrs. Maria Arrington were held from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Warren Gray, 209 Atlantic avenue, Tuesday afternoon, with Rev. Clarence F. Avey, pastor of St. Stephen's Methodist Episcopal Church, officiating. The services were attended by many relatives and friends and the floral offerings were profuse and beautiful. Burial was in Waterside Cemetery.
