Pleasant Kinneman, a former resident of this township, died in the Home hospital, Lafayette, a few days ago, of pneumonia, at the age of 76. He had been employed by the Monon railway company.
The deceased lived here several years, and his sons and daughters were quite prominent in the social affairs of the young people.
Buren, the eldest son, has lived in Decatur, Ill., many years, and is a railway clerk. Chalmer, a younger son, lives in Lafayette, and Ed is in Evanston, Ill. One of the daughters married Harry (Muldoon) Blacklidge, and is living in Frankfort.
Mr. Kinneman was a Methodist and took an active part in church work while here. When he left Mulberry he located in Mechanicsburg and remained there until he went to Lafayette, ten years ago.
