KEVIN WADE PENNINGTON, age 41 years, a resident of Logan Drive, Elkins, WV, departed this life Sunday morning, January 7, 2007 at the Fairmont General Hospital at Fairmont, WV.
He was born Monday, June 21, 1965 at Elkins, a son of Otto M. Pennington of Elkins and the late Charlotte Belle Lawrence Pennington.
On December 9, 1986 at Winchester, VA he was married to the former, Cathy Lynn Murray, who preceded him in death November 18, 2005.
Also surviving are one daughter, Natasha Nicole Pennington, Elkins; five brothers, Dennis Pennington and wife Sandra; Darrell Pennington and wife Janet; and Sabin Pennington, all of Winchester, VA; Scotty Pennington and wife Michelle, Elkins; the Reverend Eric Pennington and wife Cammie, Ft. Chiswell, VA; one sister, Sheila Lloyd and husband Bill, Elkins, two aunts, two uncles, and several nieces and nephews.
He attended the schools of Randolph County, was a welder by trade, and was last employed by Nella's Incorporated in the Maintenance Department.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins on Tuesday from 7 to 9 PM.
On Wednesday, January 10, 2007, Mr. Pennington will be moved to the Hambleton Pentecostal Church of God at Hambleton where friends may call from 11:30 to 12:30, the funeral hour.
The Reverend Eric Pennington and the Reverend Joshua Pennington will officiate and interment will follow at Mountain State Memorial Gardens at Gilman.
