Bertha C. Kuchenbuch, 80, died at a local nursing home Saturday. She was born May 24, 1893 at Tacoma and married George Kuchenbuch in 1914 at Enumclaw.
They moved here in 1934, purchased a farm on the Westside on Brown Road and farmed there for many years. He preceded her in death in 1950. Mrs. Kuchenbuch lived at the farm home until moving to the nursing home three years ago.
She was a member of the Enumclaw Lutheran Church. Survived by a son, Charles of Ellensburg, a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Hansen of Ellensburg; nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren.
Funeral will be at Evenson's, Tuesday, 2 p.m. with Rev. Roland Wittrock will officiate and burial follows in IOOF Cemetery.
