HEFLIN, LA. - Funeral services for Charles E. Morgan, 71, of Heflin, LA. will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in Bistineau Baptist Church, Heflin, Louisiana. Officiating will be Rev. Wayne Whiteside, assisted by Bro. Roy Southern. Burial will follow in Bistineau Cemetery in Heflin, LA. Visitation will be Monday, November 25, 2013 at Rockett Funeral Home in Ringgold, LA. from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
Mr. Morgan was born March 4, 1942 in Shreveport, LA. and went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 24, 2013 in Heflin, LA.
Left to cherish his memory include his wife, Johnnie Pate Morgan of Heflin, LA.; son, Kevin Morgan and his fiance, Kristen Melendy of Pensacola, Florida; daughter, Misti Morgan Monk and her husband, Randy of Gilmer, TX.; grandson, Matthew "Matt" Monk of Gilmar, TX.; brother, Jimmy Ray Morgan of Ringgold, LA.; sisters, Betty Jean Jurls of Bossier City, LA. and Robbie Berger of Shreveport, LA.; sister-in-law, Shirley Pate Carter and her family of Heflin, LA. and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Briley Joe Carter, Aaron Litton, Brandon Reeves, David Reeves, Jonathan Wallace and Steve Burnett. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Ray Morrow, Billy Morrow, Glen Sanders, Donnie Todd, and Bobby Hulion.
