BROTHER INJURED FEW HOURS AFTER SISTER’S FUNERAL
After a brief illness of only a few days, Rizpah Charlotte, aged three years, the second child of Mr. and Mrs. Rumsey Helmick, who live “In the Pines” neighborhood, a few miles north of Monterey, died, Friday afternoon July 31st at six o’clock. A few hours after the funeral; which was conducted by Rev. C. A. Munsey at Asbury chapel, Sunday morning, at ten o’clock; the family stopped at Mr. Ira Rexrode’s home for dinner and while there, the youngest child a little boy, just beginning to walk, was in the yard “toddling” around when he was kicked by a young colt, which broke his collarbone. He had to be brought to town, to a physician for medical treatment.
