ANDERSON-Carrie B. Franklin, 73, 1661 N. Madison Ave., died Feb 16, 1995, at the home of her daughter after an extended illness.

She was born Aug. 25, 1921, in Lexington, Ky., and moved to the Anderson area in the 1940s from Kentucky. She retired in 1975 from Inland Fisher Guide after more than 30 years of employment.

She was a member of United Auto Workers Local 663.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Dottie and Steve Callaway of Anderson; brother and sister-in-law, George and Margaret Browning of Winamac; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Mrs. Chester (Frances) Schewe of Farmington, Mo., Mrs. Robert (Helen) See of Daleville, Mrs Bill (Martha jean) Vaughn of Anderson and Mrs. John (Ann) Etchison of Anderson; grandchildren, Mrs. Don (Dana) Phillips, Jay Harmon and Kristi Callaway, all of Anderson; great-grandchildren, Dustin Phillips and Drew Phillips; and several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Nellie Browning; and two brothers, Paul Browning and Carlton Browning.

Services will be at 10 am Monday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with the Rev. Justin Fisher officiating. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call from 1 to 5 pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Hospice.
