BATTLE, RAYMOND NEIL - age 82, of Knoxville, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2013.

Raymond was a former teacher and coach at Tennessee School for the Deaf. He participated in the deaf program at First Baptist Knoxville Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Battle. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Stephanie Battle of Farragut; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and JoAnn Battle of Knoxville; grandson and wife, Joshua and Emily Battle of Palo Alto, CA.

Family will receive friends Sunday, November 24, 2013, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home with the service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Family and friends will meet Monday, November 25, 2013, at Green Hill Cemetery in Etowah for a 10:00 a.m. interment. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to P.T.C.A of Tennessee School for the Deaf, 2725 Island Home Blvd, Knoxville, TN 37920. Condolences may be offered at www.berryfuneralhome.com .
