Sandra "Sandy" E. Buchanan, 71, Kuttawa, formerly of Henderson, passed away at 9:38 A.M. Tuesday, August 27th, 2013, at her home while under the care of Lourdes Hospice.
She was born in 1942 to Isaac Herman Sr. and Maxine Potts. Sandra was a member of Cairo United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald "Buck" Buchanan; two sons, Troy Buchanan and his wife, Anne, and Terry Buchanan, both of Cairo; one daughter, Theresa Buchanan Sheffer of Cairo; one brother, Isaac Herman Potts Jr.; five grandchildren, Jacob Buchanan, Amber Sheffer, Beau Sheffer, Chelsea Buchanan, and James Buchanan; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Tapp Funeral Home. The Reverend Fred Whitmore officiated. Burial followed in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
