He married Ruth Ann (James, Jarvis) Doom March 29, 1993, she survives. Other survivors include: a son, Patrick A. Doom of Indianapolis; 3 daughters, Kelly J. Doom of Indianapolis, Sandra Jarvis and Shelly Jarvis, both of Greenwood; 5 grandchildren, Teri J. Doom, Jeremy T. Doom, Eric N. Coe, Sophia M. Doom and Bryanna J. Doom; brothers, Earl C. He graduated from Livingston Central High School in Burna, KY in 1962. He retired from Citizen's Gas and Coke Utility Company in March 1999, after 32 years of service. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving from January 1963 to January 1967.
Services: 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 4 at Smith Funeral Chapel, Smithland, KY, with calling from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3. Burial: Leeper Cemetery, Tiline, KY.
