Sarah Jeannine Bachelor Combs, 57, of Lower Salem, passed away on Thursday (Oct.27, 2011) at O.S.U. Medical Center in Columbus.
She was born on July 2, 1954, in Hopkinsville, Ky., to W.R. (Dode) and Wilda Montgomery Bachelor. She was a graduate of Morgan High School Class of 1972, and was employed at TGG Brand Marketing. She was a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church and the Ladies Aide Group.
On May 28, 1998, she married Earl Combs who survives. She is also survived by sons: Jeremy (Jamie) Self of Stockport, Erik (Rachel) Self of Altoona, Pa.; grandchildren, Sylvia Norton of Marietta, Gavin Coleman and Grace Jackson of Stockport; two step-sons, Jason (Kristin) Combs of Warner-Robins Air Force Base and Jeremy Combs of Sacramento, Calif.; and step-daughter, Raquelle Combs of Newark, Ohio; three step-grandchildren, Gavin Combs, Owen Combs and Liam Combs; and siblings, Don Ray Bachelor of Los Angeles, Calif., "Mike" (Robin) Bachelor of Beckley, W.Va., Rebecca (Steve) Forrest of Waterford.
She was preceded in death by her father.
At her request, she was cremated and graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family.
