Donald Schlegel, 32, of 1302 Lincoln Ave. was dead on arrival Thursday night at Beloit Hospital after a heart attack at home.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Schlegel was born May 1, 1932, in Freeport. He married Mary Lou Spangenberg June 29. 1957, in Rockton.
Surviving are his wife, two sons, Donald and Fred, and two daughters, Leona and Mary, at home; his parents, Beloit, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Jane Anderson, Davis, Ill. He was predeceased by a sister.
Services wil be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Hansen Funeral Home, the Rev. Harley Olson of Assembly of God Church officiatng. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
