Jeanette Agnes Schlegel, 65, of 1022 Cranston Road, died Sunday in Beloit Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
A 30-year resident of the Beloit area, she was born March 1, 1908, in Freeport, Ill., the daughter of George and Emma Jackson Yoder, and was married to LeRoy Schlegel Aug. 13, 1926, in Rockford.
Mrs. Schlegel was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Abner (Mary) Anderson of Rock City, Ill., eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Wayne and Eff, both of Freeport, two sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Genora) Oppold of Freeport and Mrs. Tony (Thelma) Giuffre, Sr., of Scioto Mills, Ill., and nieces and nephews.
One daughter, Leona, one son Donald, two sisters, and three brothers are deceased.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Rosman, Uehling, Kinzer's Cranston Road Chapel, Mr. Larry Liebe officiating.
Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel.
