She was married to Phillip Braden in Germany. They came to America in 1866 and settled in Illinois. Mr. Braden bought railroad land in Liberty Township, Fillmore County, Nebraska, in 1878 and moved his family here in the spring of 1879. Mr. Braden died nearly thirty-five years ago. Mrs. Braden moved from the Liberty Township farm to Geneva about ten years ago.
Mrs. Braden is survived by her four children Anthony Braden, Phillip Braden and Mrs. May Spohn of Geneva, and Mrs. Rose Delaney of Exeter, fifteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral took place from St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Geneva Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. Solemn high mass was celebrated by Father Agius. Interment was in the Exeter Cemetery.
